"Robert, come quick, the news is on. There might be a little news about father," bursted Robert's mother.
"Fine, I'll be there in a minute," Yelled a stringy white boy with black, messy hair yelled back.
The stringy boy sprinted back to the house, throwing aside the basketball he was playing with simply to pass the time. He thought this time, maybe, there would be some actual news, not the crap that they were reporting now.
About five minutes after Robert started sprinting to the house, he was sitting in a beautifully furnished room, on one of the finer leather couches. The news started, and the anchor man reported the most important news. The news on the collapsed mine.
"The victims of the mine collapse have not been found. The remaining of the mine has also collapsed, the victims have been assumed dead," the anchor man said. Robert flicked off the TV and turned to his mother.
"I'm going to my room, I can't listen to the rest of the news, it's impossible," Robert said to his mother. Without waiting for an answer, he ran up the stairs, with tears in his eyes.
He dashed to his room, slammed the door, and threw himself on the bed. Disimbodied thoughts and memories floated in and out of his head. The victims have been assumed dead...The victims of the mine collapse have not been found...The remaining of the mine has collapsed...Father dead...The mine, ruined...The others in the mine, also dead....
"What am I going to do?" Robert asked himself, and he knew what he had to do, he sent out his Tyranitar, his Swampert, and his Rapidash, all of who had belonged to his father once, never to see their original owner ever again.
"Listen," Robert told the others. "We have to go to the mine. We have to save my father, your catcher, your former owner. We have to go save him."
"Swamp," grunted Swampert
"Rapi, rapidash," cried Rapidash
"Tyranitar!" roared Tyranitar, so loud, the house seemed to shake.
Robert recalled, Tyranitar and Swampert to the pokeballs, and set ouside with Rapidash. He turned to Rapidash and said, "Okay Dash, ready for this?" Rapidash replied with a shreak, which he took for a yes.
Robert mounted Rapidash, and she set off to the mine. "Okay, Dash, the mine that collapsed is on the outskirts of town, it'll take a little while to get there, up to three hours.
It took a fair amount of time to get to the mine, in three hours, the sun was setting, and Robert was just coming up on the edge of the mine.
He gave a groan, eying the scene of the entrance of the mine, several giant rockfalls. Robert threw out his remaining two pokeballs, and set to work.
"Okay, Tyranitar, Swampert, move the rocks," he commanded. There were just some things you couldn't do on your own, rescueing a good-as-dead father was one thing.
It took alot of time, about half of hour, for Tyranitar and Swampert to move the rocks. By the tinme they were finsihed, night had fallen, and the only light came from the flaming tail and mane of Rapidash.
Finally, the rocks were cleared, and I set into the mine.
The second I set intothe mine, darkness, as dark as the darkness on a television set turned off. My immediate thought was that this was normal darkness, and I threw Dash's pokeball into the air, and the fire mane and tail didn't shine like I expected, but weren't even lighted. I ordered for a flamethrower., and even though I heard the whoosh of a flame, I didn't see the light I expected to illuminate the cave.
"This will be harder than I thought,"
